Ingredients
- 4 steaks cut 1/2″ thick
- 1/2 cup Lady Jane hemp flour or Hempagizer
- 1/2 cup white rice flour
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon flour (hemp or rice)
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Step 2
Combine the following in a small bowl:
- 1/2 cup Lady Jane hemp flour
- 1/2 cup white rice flour
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Place in a glass pie plate and set aside.
Step 3
Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter in a medium glass prep bowl.
Step 4
Mix the following ingredients and set aside:
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon flour (hemp or rice)
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Step 5
Rinse the pork steaks and let them drip a little.
Step 6
Place each steak in the flour and spice mixture.
Step 7
Place each flour-coated steak into a medium-hot pan with oil in it and brown, only turning once.
Step 8
Put the browned steaks into a glass baking dish and top with the sauce mixture.
Step 9
Bake for 20 – 30 minutes.
