Banana Pops
Banana pops are a great substitute for ice cream. Hot summer weather makes us crave sweet, cold treats and these are delicious and creamy, without any dairy fat!

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons hot spring or filtered water
- 2 teaspoons brown rice syrup
- 4 ripe bananas
- 4 popsicle sticks
- 1/2 cup shelled hemp seeds (hemp hearts)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Make a coating by mixing the cocoa powder, hot water and rice syrup to form a smooth, creamy paste. Take care not to thin the cocoa too much.
Step 2
Insert a popsicle stick into each banana and dip the banana into the syrup, coating it completely.
Step 3
Roll the coated bananas in the hempseed.
Step 4
Place on wax paper and freeze until firm.
Step 5
Eat while still frozen. Enjoy!
