A healing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant rich smoothie with cacao, hemp seeds, dates, banana, peanut butter, and broccoli sprouts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder (or cocoa powder, sugar-free, fair-trade)
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 4 dates (pitted)
  • 1 medium banana (frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons organic peanut butter (salt- and sugar-free)
  • 1/2 cup broccoli sprouts (rinsed well)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (preferably alcohol-free)
  • 1 handful ice (optional)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy!

Step 2

For extra sweetness, add more dates or banana – or for a nuttier flavor, add more peanut butter. . . and start thinking about having one tomorrow! tongue-out
