MDARD to Send the Industrial Hemp Program back to USDA

Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) will be requesting the Industrial Hemp program for Michigan Industrial Hemp Growers be abolished and returned to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for program administration.
We encourage interested growers who are willing to share their experiences producing industrial hemp in the region, especially women, members of underrepresented communities, and veteran farmers to contact Dr. Elizabeth Long
Rules are released as the industrial hemp industry processing moves to the Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
