This is a great way to add some zesty flavor to grains and vegetables!


  • 1 cup hemp hearts (shelled hempseeds)
  • 1 teaspoon natural soy sauce
  • Generous pinch of ground coriander
  • Generous pinch powdered ginger

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Place a dry skillet over medium-low heat and stir in the hemp hearts (hempseed) and soy sauce.

Step 2

Lightly pan toast the hemp hearts, stirring constantly for 1 minute.

Step 3

Add the spices and pan toast until fragrant, about 2 minutes longer.

Step 4

Transfer to a glass jar and cool completely before sealing.


This condiment will keep for 2 to 3 weeks stored in a cool, dry place.
