Northcentral Hemp IPM Working Group seeking growers to share their pest management experiences
Are you producing industrial hemp in the northcentral region? Would you be willing to share your experiences in this crop, including managing disease, weeds, and/or insects?
If so, the Northcentral Hemp IPM Working Group would like to hear from you!
As part of a project to highlight pest management needs and success stories in industrial hemp production, we are looking for growers in the region that we can highlight with “feature story” videos, which would include a brief filmed interview with members of Purdue’s Hemp Extension and Agricultural Communication team.
We encourage interested growers who are willing to share their experiences producing industrial hemp in the region, especially women, members of underrepresented communities, and veteran farmers to contact Dr. Elizabeth Long by email (long132@purdue.edu) or phone (765-496-1918).
