A great replacement for cheese in a “queso dip”. This is a quick and easy dip that is not only delicious, but also nutritious.

Makes approximately 1-1/2 cups or 4 servings.

Adjust the heat by using mild, medium or hot salsa or add diced jalapeños.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw hemp hearts
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup salsa

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Put all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2

Serve as a dip with chips or veggies.
