Our Mission

The Midwest Hemp Council is also playing a crucial role in the development of a regulatory structure in Indiana.

We are required by law to have a seat on the newly formed Indiana Hemp Advisory Committee.

We will also continue to work closely with the Seed Commissioner to ensure our farmers and processors operate under a regulatory structure that maximizes investments into the hemp economy.

Midwest Hemp Council was formed with the goal of legalizing the commercial production of hemp and providing accurate information to ensure ease in commerce of hemp and hemp products. Following the federal legalization of commercial hemp production, MHC acts as a credible information center, a trusted policy advocate and a dedicated trade organization for the hemp industry in the Midwest and beyond.

Our 250+ members represent 23 states and two countries, and we are all focused on building and promoting the hemp supply chain from seed to shelf.
